The Stanley Cup Finals between Carolina and Edmonton has bee a great series, with it coming down to game 7. There is a problem though, personnaly I don’t think the finals should be played in June. It just dosen’t sound right playing ice hockey in June does it? It would be a good move for the NHL to shorten the season and have the finals over by the end of March, first week of April at the latest. I know I don’t usually think about watching hockey when making plans for a summer vacation. If the season was shorter, maybe there would be more interest in it. Maybe baseball and basketball should think about shortening their seasons to. Thats just my opinion.
