Hey Charlie do the right thing and step down as Phillies manager. The Phillies problems this year are not all your fault, but there is nothing left for you to do to change the attitude on this team. Walking away and letting someone else take over is about the only thibng left. Not that anyone else is going to make a difference with this team. G.M. Pat Gillick is not interested in making this team better, while other teams are trying to improve via trades Gillick does nothing, and that reason is the ownership doesn’t know how or want to improve. Charlie it would be in your best interest and the teams best interest to just step aside.
