With the Phillies just about out of it in baseball, and the opening of training camp at Lehigh university for the Eagles, it is officially football season for Philadelphia fans. This maybe one of the most watched training camps in recent memory as the Birds try to bounce back from a rough 2005 season, where they finished 6-10. The Eagles head into camp with a revamped defensive line, with the additions of free agent Darren Howard , and draft choices Brodrick Bunkley(not yet signed), LaJuan Ramsey, and DE/LB Chris Gocong. One of the biggest questions is how the receivers will do. T.O. is gone, and the question will be who will step up and be the Eagles #1 receiver? The Eagles have added free agent Jabar Gaffney, and draft choices Jason Avant, and WR/KR Jeremey Bloom, and Todd Pinkston is coming back after being sidelined in 2005 with an achillies problem. Even with all the competition going on for roster spots, all eyes will be on QB Donovan McNaab, and how he comes back from his season ending injury, and the mess with Owens. Personally I don’t think there will be a problem there. LET’S GO BIRDS
