From the viewpoint of a fan watching the Flyers-Sabres game was embarrassing. I can only imagine what it was like to be on the receiving end of a total butt kicking. There was nothing positive you could take from this game. I’m sitting here watching the Capitals-Panthers game, its embarrassing to here those announcers comment on how bad the Flyers played.They even questioned why Ken Hitchcock left Robert Esche in the game. Management took notice and waived three players, Petr Nedved, Nolan Baumgartner, and Niko Dimitrakos and called up RW Stefan Ruzicka, D Alexandre Picard, and LW Ben Eager. Whether those moves will have an impact who knows. It will be interesting to see how they respond to getting their butts kicked when they play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night, another team that has had the Flyers number recently. If they play that game like the Sabre game then it is safe to say its going to be a very long year for the Flyers and their fans.
