What a great win for the Eagles on Sunday against the Giants. The Eagles improve their record to 8-6 and climb back in the hunt for the NFC East on crown. Hats off to the Defense for turning things around after being battered in the press for their play, especially stopping the run. Brian Dawkins forced 2 fumbles and had an interception,and Trent Cole put the game on ice with his pick and return for a TD. There were the great defensive stands that held the Giants to field goals when they had a 1st and goal. The offense looked good coming back to score after the Giants took the lead 22-21. Brian Westbrook broke the 1,000 yd mark for the first time in his career. There were 2 great calls in the game, the first was going for it 4th and goal toward the end of the first half, going into the half up 14-10 instead of 10-10 was huge. The second was the Brian Westbrook 28 yd TD run, that was a great call. Who would of thought after the Colts game that the eagles would be in this position? I didn’t.
