If your an Eagles fan you couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas gift than the Eagles victory over the Cowboys. They just totaly dominated the ‘Boys winning 23-7. The defense did a great job of stopping the run again this week, holding the Cowboys to well under 100 yards, and holding Tony Romo to 142 yards passing while picking off 2. He didn’t look like a Pro Bowl QB in this game. The Eagles put up a great goal line stand when it looked like the Cowboys were going to tie the game at 7.T.O. did have a TD catch but other than that he did nothing, ansd even dropped a couple more that hurt the Cowboys. The Eagles offense ran through the Dallas defense for over 200 yards rushing and passing. A few weeks ago no Eagle fan could have thought the Eagles would be in this position, 1st in the NFC East. Now all they have to do to clinch the division is to beat the Falcons on Sunday. Nothing has been normal in the NFL this year and the difference in the past few weeks proves it. I was one of those fans that didn’t think there was a chance fo rthe Birds to get where they are now, I don’t think I’ll be making that mistake again.
