It’s official, Larry Brown is back with the Philadelphia 76ers as an Executive VP. Apparently he is going to help GM Billy King try to rebuild the 76ers. If the reason he left Philly in the first place wasn’t obvious enough then, it sure as hell is now, Allen Iverson. There is nothing wrong with bringing him back to pick his brain, after all he did take the 76ers to the NBA Finals a few years back. Its not unusual to see a Philly sports team bring someone back, it wasn’t that long ago the Flyers fired Ken Hitchcock, then bought him back less than two weeks later as a scout. The same with Bob Clarke, he resigned as GM, and came back as Executive VP for the Flyers a few weeks later. Hopefully Brown can help King make the right decisions on building a new team, especially with the draft picks they have now from the Iverson trade.
