Its the day after the Eagles 27-24 loss to the Saints in the Divisional Playoffs. The Eagles had a great run, not too many people expected the Eagles to finish where they did after being 5-6, and without McNabb. They say all good things must come to an end, I can accept that, being defeated by a better team. As an Eagle fan I just can’t accept the way this game ended with one of the dumbest calls I think I’ve ever seen in a football game. How can you decide to punt the ball back to a team with just under 2 minutes remaining, and only 2 timeouts left? There probably isn’t an Eagle fan today who isn’t questioning that decision. It was a playoff game, you don’t end playoff games like that. Thats almost like just giving up, and thats not the way fans would like to remember this season ending.
