There’s not much to say after watching this game. The Phillies bullpen,especially Tom Gordon and Brett Myers couldn’t hold on to a six run lead in the last two innings of the game. The Phils had a chance to cut the Mets lead to 4 games but that didn’t happen, instead the Phils may have seen their season go down the drain. How do you come back from a loss like that? The ironic thing about this is the Phillies had a chance to sign Joe Borowski to be their closer, but didn’t when Phillies team doctors were worried about his shoulder. The Cleveland Indians took the chance and signed Borowski. Thats funny since both Gordon and Myers spent an extended period of time on the DL and Borowski didn’t. Gordon and Myers have 20 saves between them, Borowski has 40 saves on his own. The Indians are in first place in the AL Central, does Borowski’s 40 saves have anything to do with that? Oh well, it starting to look like we will have to wait until next year.
