What to make of Donovan McNabb’s comments about black QB’s being critizised more than white QB’s. The Sports Den didn’t see the piece on Real Sports, intended to watch it but then decided against it. Being a Philadelphia Eagles fan The Sports Den has to admit we have critizised McNabb over the years, but we’ve critizised every Eagles QB going back to the days of Norm Snead. Maybe the critizism comes from the fact that he has a $112 million contract in a blue collar city and still hasn’t won a Super Bowl. When your making the kind of money athletes are making today and the fans are shelling out more and more money to attend the games because of those contracts of course you are going to get more and more critizism. I guess that reason is a little to easy, its better to play the race card.
