Here at The Sports Den we have taken our shots at NHL Commisioner Gary Bettman. We are not sure how much input Bettman had in the NHL Board of Governor’s decision to change the scheduling so that every team plays one another a least once a season starting in the 2008-09 season. It is a good move, its good to see that every once in a while the people in charge actually listen to the fans. Now the fans in both conferences don’t have to wait three years or so to see the stars in the opposite conference. Could it have been done sooner sure, but at least its been done and thats a good thing for the NHL.
