In a previous post The Sports Den said to give the McNabb story a break. Well, The Sports Den thought of one more thing as to why McNabb should be back, its really a question for all of the experts and disgruntled fans out there that want McNabb to go, Ask yourself this, do you think either Peyton Manning or Tom Brady could throw 30-40 TD passes with the receivers they have now without a real deep threat? How many times do you think they both would be sacked waiting for one of these receivers to get open? Troy Aikman said it Sunday, these receivers are no better than a 2 or 3 receiver, he should know he is a Hall of Fame QB. This is worth repeating, look at the numbers he put up when he had a real deep threat. Hopefully now that the Eagles have been eliminated from any playoff hopes they will now see that they need to get McNabb the weapon(s) he needs. Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown are good receivers, it would help them to go get a deep threat. One thing to Eagles management, stop using the T.O. fiasco as an excuse not to sign one.
