76ers

The 76ers beat the Miami Heat on Thursday night by the score of 101-84. The Heat didn’t have Shaq, or Shawn Marion or Marcus Banks.

Like they say a win is a win no matter how ugly or how pretty,or how bad the other team is. Just about everyone understood going into this season the 76ers would be rebilding and not to expect too much. With the win against the Heat the Sixers are now just one half game out of eighth place in the Eastern conference, which means they are one half game out of the last playoff spot. You could say that is a pleasant surprise if you have been following the team. The Sixers record is now 20-30 which isn’t great but it isn’t the worst either take a look at the Heat and Knicks. It will be interesting to see what happens around the NBA trading deadline, if the Sixers have a legitamite shot at making the playoffs, do they stand pat with what they have and take their best shot, or do they make a move to free up more cap space?
