Its The Sports Den’s guess that Villanova’s chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament were sunk with their 82-63 loss to Georgetown in the Big East Tournament’s Quarterfinals. They did pick up their 20th win against Syracuse in the first round of the Tournament, and usually 20 wins is enough to get you in but in this case it might not be enough. The Sports Den doesn’t see 8 team from the Big East getting into the Tourney. They were 3-6 against the Top 50 in the RPI, which means Villanova will be on the outside looking in and headed to the NIT. Thats The Sports Den guess, and we’re probably wrong.
