They did it again, they grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. With a chance to overtake the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference standings they couldn’t take advantage of it. The Boston Bruins scored the tying goal with just :26 left to force OT, and what has become a bad habit the Flyers lose in OT. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time Jeff Carter was in the crease and had the puck deflect off his leg and into the net to tie the game. It figures. Aaron Ward scored the game winner in OT for the second time against the Flyers this season. The Flyers are now 29-37 since starting the season 6-1. If they don’t snap out of it they might not make the playoffs.
