The streak of at leats one Philadelphia team in the NCAA Tournament will extend to 31 years as St. Joseph’s Hawks beat Xavier 61-53 in one A-10 semi-final and the Temple Owls beat Charlotte 60-45 in the other A-10 semi-final which guarantees the winner will be in the NCAA Tourney. Let’s hope both teams make it into the Tourney. Maybe they should do what St. Joe’s head coach Phil Martelli said, bus everyone back to Philly and play the game in the Palestra.
