In his two previous starts during spring training its almost scary to say that Adam Eaton pitched well, but fear not Phillies fans he is back to normal. Pitching against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday afternoon, probably his last start in spring training, hopefully his last start as a Phillies pitcher, he went 4.2 innings, giving up 7 runs -6 earned runs, 11 hits, 2 walks and 1 strikout. Yeah your fifth starter in your rotation usually isn’t that good but there has to be a pitcher out there that is better than this guy. I know that the only reason they keep him around is due to the moneyy they gave him. Its about time they swallowed hard and got rid of this guy. If you can’t find a way to just throw him in a deal, then when the Phillies break camp and head north they should just leave him in Florida.
