With the win the Flyers avoided facing the Penguins in the first round of the playoffs, and will now face the Washington Capitals. Marty Biron picked up his second srtaight shutout, a good sign heading into the playoffs, lets hope he can keep it up. The Flyers won the season series over the Capitals, 2-1-1. The Flyers are making a return to the playoffs since miising them last season, while this will be the Caps first appearence in the post season since 2003. Question is can the Flyers shut down Alex Ovechkin? The Sports Den thinks so.
