Usually in a close game when the nineth inning rolls around Pat Burrell is out of the game having been replaced for defensive purposes. For some strange reason Chalie Manuel left Burrell in the gam against the Houston Astros, maybe some one higher up said something to Manuel? It paid off, Burrell hit a two run homer in the bottom of the nineth to tie the game at 3-3. The Phillies would eventually win it 4-3. Good non-move.
