This is great! The Boston Globe took out a full page ad apologizing for publishing a story that they now know was false. It was the story about the Patriots videotaping the Rams walkthrough prior to SB XXXVI. Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story. Isn’t it a reporters job to do a little background check and make sure the story is true before you write it. Could this be one of the reasons why people are turning away from news papers?
