After being put on life support going down 3-0 to the Penguins in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, the Flyers showed they still have a pulse by beating the Penguins 4-2 in game 4, and send the series back to Pittsburgh for game 5 on Sunday. Joffrey Lupul put the Flyers on the scoreboard first, the first time this series they scored the first goal, then Danny Briere and Jeff Carter added goals to give the Flyers a 3-0 lead after one. The score stayed that way until the third period when Jordan Staal scored two goals to pull the Penguins to within one at 3-2. Joffrey Lupul put the game in ice with an empty netter to make it a 4-2 final. The Flyers sent the obligatory message when Scotty Upshall hit Staal, Upshall was called for boarding, which led to a fight between Derian Hatcher and Ryan Malone, always good to see a fight in hockey, especially the playoffs. The game ended with the Flyers Mike Richards wanting a piece of Sidney Crosby. Will have to keep an eye on that it game 5. At least there is a game 5.
