Jamie Moyer and the Phillies started the second half of the season with a big win over the Florida Marlins 4-2. The Marlins remain 1 of 2 teams that have not beaten Jamie Moyer, the Cubs being the other. Moyer improved to 10-0 with a 3.09 ERA in his career against the Fish. Ryan Howard picked up where he left off before the break hitting his league leading 29th dinger. Geoff Jenkins added a solo shot and had an RBI hit. Chase Utley went 3-4 with an RBI. Brad Lidge picke dup his 21st save. Some more good news is the Phillies are alone in first place in the NL East, the Mets 10 game winning streak ended with a 5-2 loss to the Reds. Isn’t that a shame.
