The Tour De Farce is over and its not like The Sports Den really cares about a bike trace, but with all of the doping scandals associated with it over the last couple of years, here is something different. the Sports Den read this in the Seattle Times. Italian rider Riccardo Ricco actually admitted to doping after winning two stages and failing a test.

 “What I did during the Tour is done. I made a mistake and the mistake is only mine,” Ricco said after the hearing behind closed doors in Rome.


“I have always won with my own legs. Unfortunately, I’ve made a mistake and I will pay for it,” Ricco added. “For now, I’m not even thinking of going back on a bike. … I’m here because I had a huge burden and I wanted to get rid of it.”

Wow! Somebody actually took responsibility fo rtrying to cheat than try and blame it on the way the tests were done. Amazing!
