Now that the preseason is coming to an end its time for The Sports Den to make its predictions for the NFL. The Sports Den is going to start with the NFC East, yes our favorite team is in the NFC East, Philadelphia Eagles, and yes we are homers, so here it goes.

1. Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles have a healthy Donovan McNaab, a happy Brian Westbrook, a beefed up defense, and with Quinton Demps, and DeSean Jackson a return game. With Andy Reid’s family matters behind him and concentrating on football again the Eagles should win the division, and it could come down to the last game of the season against the hated Dallas Cowboys.

2. Dallas Cowboys – A talented team should give the Eagles a run for their money for the division, but have some questions, especially who is going to make the most off field noise, Tony Romo, Terrell Owens or Pac-Man Jones?

3. N.Y. Giants – Even though he won a Super Bowl personnally I would still take a healthy McNaab over Eli Manning any day. Michael Strahan is retired, Osi Umenyiora might be out for the season, and there is this thing called a Super Bowl hangover.

4. Washington Redskins – The Redskins did sign Jason taylor but that is not going to be enough, they have a new coach in Jim Zorn, which means QB Jason Campell will have to learn a new system, that usually isn’t good in the first year.
