With the NFC East out of the way its time for The Sports Den to try and predict the NFC North. The Den couldn’t make up its mind on wether the Vikings or Packers would win this division so we flipped a coin and the Vikings won.
1. Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings get the nod for winning the division with a strong running game and a good defense. like the rest of the division they have a question with QB Tarvaris Jackson, he has one season as a strater under his belt and how well he plays this season will be a big factor in how the Vikings do.
2. Green Bay Packers – Now that Brett Favre is gone all eyes will be on first time starter Aaron Rodgers. The Packers defense might be able to steal a game or two, buit it will be how Rodgers plays as to how the Packers do this season.
3. Chicago Bears – This team is going backwards, with QB problems with Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman, and not having a good running game means the defense will have to do too much for this team to go anywhere.
4. Detroit Lions – This team started off 6-2 last season then went 1-7 the rest of the way. Not much has improved here, they have good wide receivers, and a decent QB in John Kitna, but this team has no defense which will hurt them.
