The Phillies took game 1 of their NLDS with the Milwaukee Brewers behind the pitching of Cole Hamels. Hamels went 8 innings giving up just 2 hits, striking out 8 and walking just 1. Chase Utley drove in 2 runs with a two out double, and Shane Victorino added an RBI. Brad Lidge pitched the 9th inning to pick up the save, although it wasn’t without a little stress. Game 2 is on Thursday night at 6:00 pm.
