There are some interesting matchups in the NFL in week 5. The Sports Den is going to give our take on a few of them.

Washington Redskins(3-1) @ Philadelpia Eagles(2-2) – The Redskins are in Philly to take on the Eagles in a NFC East Battle. The Eagles are coming off a game that they should have won byt lost to the Chicago Bears. The Redskins are coming off a huge win over the Cowboys in Dallas. The Eagles need to win this game, especially since the Cowboys and Giants have easy games this week, they can’t afford another loss within the division. Donovan McNabb is still a little sore and Brian Westbrook’s status for the game is still up inthe air. The Eagles are 2-0 at home and have to play better offensively to win this game, they should be able to do that. It would be a huge surprise to The Sports Den if the Redskins didn’t have a letdown after beating the Cowboys in Dallas, and we are not expecting them to win 2 tough NFC East games in a row on the road.

Final Score- Eagles 24- Redskins 16

Pittsburgh Steelers(3-1) @ Jacksonville Jaguars(2-2) – Both teams are coming off of OT wins. The Steelers beat the Ravens 23-20, and the Jaguars beat the Texans 30-27. This should be a physical game, can the Steelers survive another physical game without losing anymore players? The Jaguars have beaten the Steelers in their last three regular season meetings, and four straight if you count the 31-29 playoff win over the Steelers last season. The Steelers will be looking for some revenge for that playoff loss.

Final Score – Steelers 23 – Jaguars 19

Tennessee Titans(4-0) @ Baltimore Ravens(2-1) – The Titans bring their 4-0 record into Baltimore to take on the ravens in what should be a physical defensive battle. Considering who the Titans have played so far, Bengals, Texans, Vikings, this game will be their first real test of the season. Kerry Collins has done a good job filling in for Vince Young but can he keep it up against the Ravens? Can the ravens bounce back from their OT los to the Steelers? Yep, they have the extra incentive to give the Titans their first loss.

Final Score – Ravens 9 – Titans 6
