A couple of weeks ago we made a post saying instead of getting angry at Andy Reid and calling for his head , The Sports Den was just going to lower their expectations on where the Eagles would finish, the whole idea was to try and avoid the aggravation after watching the Birds lose to the Bears and Redskins. Ok, we had lowered our expectations from 11-5 down to 7-9, yeah we were a little pissed with their losses just like every other Eagles fan. Then along came week 6 and the Eagles are back in the thick of things in the NFC East and now we are going to raise our expectations a little. Instead of 7-9 we are going to raise that to 10-6. The reason behind that, the injuries with the Cowboys, plus their defense sucks, and the Giants came down to earth and lost to the Browns, what a cupcake schedule they have had so far, plus the Redskins lost to the Rams. With the possibility of getting WR Kevin Curtis and RB Brian Westbrook back aftewr the bye week we strill think the Eagles can make a run at the Division. Stay tuned this could change again.
