Now though the handwriting is on the wall after Sunday nights loss to NFC East Rivals, the N.Y. Giants. A few years ago maybe McNabb would have pulled that game out, but times have changed and for whatever reason McNabb and the Eagles are now losing games that before they would win. I’m not going to predict what happens the rest of the season, the Eagles could still make the playoffs, but with the way things are going that doesn’t look too promising. maybe now the Eagles should take a page from the 76ers when they traded Allen Iverson, and consider trading McNabb at the end of the season. Just like the Iverson trade it would benefit both the Eagles and McNabb in the long run. McNabb still has something left the woudl interest other teams, everybody knows there are a few teams out there that will be desperate for a QB like McNabb at the end of the season, and the Eagles would get something decent in return, and McNabb would get another shot at winning a Super Bowl with the right team, because its looking more and more like that is not going to happen again with the Eagles, just take a look at the Eagles wins, and losses over the last few years, especially within the division..A large part of that blame can be put on Eagles management, they just don’t realize their way just doesn’t work anymore.With that said, and what I previously said it is still possible the Eagles could turn things around and make a run and win the Super Bowl, but it just doesn’t look like they can do that they way they could a few years back, so maybe it is time to start thinking about turning the page and trading McNabb and both sides can move on.Because they can’t blame it on injuries, or the team being too young. Maybe next year is the time to start the Kevin Kalb era in Philly.
