Something happened on Saturdy in South Bend, Indiana that I thought only happened in Philly. Apparently Notre Dame fans pelted their own players with snowballs during Notre Dames 24-23 loss to Syracuse. For years fans in Philly have had to listen to just about every sportswriter in the country write an article or discuss on T.V. how Philly fans threw snowballs a Santa Claus. Well guys you can stop writing about Philly fans now, see it happens everwhere, including places where you wouldn’t think they would do this, much less throw them at their own players. It will be interesting how long this is talked about, or will it be swept under the rug so the Golden Dome isn’t tarnished too much. Any way they handle it doesn’t matter to me too much, because I’m laughing my ass off about this. You can’t blame Philly fans for this one. One note of interest that makes this even funnier, the QB for Syracuse who threw trhe winningTD pass, Cameron Dantley, son of former Notre Dame basketball player Adrian Dantley, go figure.
