Everybody should know by now that Brett Favre has informed the N.Y. Jets of his intentions to retire from the NFL. Since this isn’t the first time he has done this, not too many people actually believe he is going to retire. This could make for a good story, I know a lot of people are tired of hearing he is going to retire, but what he should do is come back again and again and again. Why you ask should he come back? Simple be the first NFL player to retire from every team in the NFL. Wouldn’t that be great? He could spend this year’s training camp signing 1 day contracts, show up for that 1 day then retire, there are only 30 teams left on the list so he could have it done by the time the preseason ends. Since he did break most of Dan Marino’s records and is a sure bet to make the Hall of Fame, it would make a great opening line to his induction ceremony, The only player to retire from every NFL team. Its better than the steroid issues in baseball.
