With free agency about to start in the NFL there is a lot of questions on what the Eagles should do. I read an article by Don McKee over at Philly.com suggesting the Eagles should move McNabb and rebuild. When the Eagles were 5-5-1 I would have agreed with that, not that my opionio9n means much, but now that doesn’t make much sense. If this years team could make it to the NFC Championship game why would you want to blow it up, it didn’t work out the way the fans, players, and organization wanted it to so what, at least going into the next season you know this team is good enough to get there, isn’t that what you want? It would be like doing a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, getting down to the last few pieces, and deciding to start over again,why would you want to do that? Yes the Eagles still need a few pieces of the puzzle to win the Super Bowl, and they can do that in the draft and free agency so why rebuild. Take a look at the NFC, there are no teams out there that scare anybody, and the NFC East, Dallas has problems, the Redskins are the Redskins, and Andy Reid’s biggest headache, Steve Spagnoulo is no longer with the Giants, where is the need to completely rebuild?
