The Phillies came from behind on Sunday afternoon to beat the San Diego Padres 5-4, thanks to a 2-run home run by Raul Ibanez in the bottom of the ninth. Considering the events that took place around the Phillies this week weith the death of Harry Kalas and the emotional tributes over the weekend, and losing the first 2 games of this series, you could say it was just what the doctor ordered. The Phillies and Phillies fans needed an emotional lift and who else to do it but the newest Phillie, Raul Ibanez. Ibanez has quickly put to rest and questions about wether it was a good move to sign him to replace Pat Burrell in LF.
