The Detroit Lions and QB Mathew Stafford of Georgia have agreed to a 6 year $78 million contract, $41 million guarranteed, not bad for a guy who hasn’t played a down in the NFL yet,  according to the NFL. This means that Stafford will be the first pick in Saturday’s draft, aren’t you glad you know this 16 hours before the draft starts.
