The Phillies took game 1 of a 3 game series with the L.A. Dodgers. It was awsome to see Jayson Werth steal home. the biggest thing about Tuesday night’s game is what Charlie Manuel did to the line up, great move, yes they only had 6 hits, but its a reminder that there are other ways to win a game besides hitting home runs, now don’t change it. It was about time to move Jimmy Rollins out of the lead-off spot since he is hitting under .200, and doesn’t draw enough walks to keep him there. The other thing about moving Rollins to the 5 hole is that it breaks up batting 3 lefthanders in a row, and makes it harder for the opposing manager to bring in a left-handed reliever. It also benefits Rollins batting between Ryan Howard and Raul Ibanez, maybe he will start seeing better pitches to hit abd get himself going. If that were to happen and Manuel decides to move him back to the leadoff spot, he should then consider moving Shane Victorino into the 5 spot.
