It took six tries but Phillies pitcher picked up career win #250 on Sunday, when the Phillies beat the Washington Nationals 4-2. Sunday’s games was Moyer’s best outing of the season, going 6 innings and giving up just 1 run, he is now 4-5 on the season. Moyer 46  becomes the 46th pitcher to get at least 250 wins in his career, and just the 11th left-hander to do it. Moyer’s career record is now 250 – 190. In more good news, Brad Lidge pitched a scoreless 9th to pick up his third straight save and 12th save of the season.
