After watching Chase Utley beat the Mets on Wednesday night in extra innings
you had to figure what would the Phillies and Mets do for an encour on Thursday night. How about a sequel, they went into extra innings again, and this time it was Raul Ibanez who drove a stake throught the hearts of Mets fans with a 3 run homer in the 10th inning to give the Phillies a 6-3 win, taking 2 out of 3 from the Mets, and increasing the Phillies lead in the NL East to 4 games. I don’t know about anyone else but these last three games have been fun to watch, exactly what you want from two division rivals. The Phillies and Mets still have to face each other 12 more times and hopefully they can come close to the last 3.
