According to Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthall the Phillies and Indians have made a trade. The Phillies will get reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Cliff Lee, and OF Ben Francisco and the Indians will receive Class A RHP Jason Knapp, AAA RHP Carlos Carrasco, C Lou Marson, and SS Jason Donald. The Phillies get to keep both Kyle Drabek and, J.A. Happ that the Blue Jays were asking for Roy Halladay. The question now is are the Phillies done? Considering the fact that if Lee stays with the Phillies, who will be taken out of the rotation, most likely Rodrigo Lopez, which would give the Phillies 4 lefthanders in the rotation. Which leaves the qustion would the Phillies now trade Lee to the Blue Jays for Roy Halladay? Have to wait and see. One thing though, with Pedro Martinez, and the possibility of Brett Myers coming back the Phillies have quite a bit of options at the pitching position, something they haven’t had in years.
