NFC North – This division looks to be a three team race between the Minnesot Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears.
Green Bay Packers – The Sports Den is giving the edge to win the division to the Packers, They have a solid defense and offense, plus they are the only team in the division with the same starting QB as last season, Aaron Rodgers, which should give them an advantage.
Prediction: 10-6
Minnesota Vikings – The defending NFC North champs now have Brett Favre as their starting QB, have what many consider the best RB in Adrian Peterson, and a solid defense. What happens with the Vikings all depends on Favre. Will he hold up all season? Will there be a repeat of last season with the Jets? As capable as Favre is at winning some games, he is also very capable of losing a few by being a gunslinger.
Prediction: 9-7
Chicago Bears – The Bears improved at QB with the arrival of Jay Cutler during the off season, but who does he have to throw the ball to? Matt Forte is a solid RB, and we all know what the Bears’ defense can do. Will that be enough?
Prediction: 9-7
Detroit Lions – The Lions went 0-16 last season which earned them the right to draft Mathew Stafford to be their QB. Matt Millen is finally gone, which is good news for Lions’ fans. There will be no worst to first from the Lions this season, the only thing Lions’ fans can hope for is 1 win. It will be a long season for Mathew Stafford.
Prediction: 1-15
Next Up: NFC South
