NFC South – This should be a three team race between the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints.
Carolina Panthers – The Panthers could be the best team of the three who have a shot at winning this division. They have a solid running game, and a solid defense, the question is how well Jake Delhomme plays.
Prediction: 11-5
New Orleans Saints – The Saints are looking to rebound from an 8-8 season. The Saints have an explosive offense when healthy, but have some questions on defense. They were not a very good road team last year going 2-6, will have to improve on that.
Prediction: 10-6
Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons were a surprise team in 2008 going 11-5 with rookie QB Matt Ryan. The question ias now will Ryan have what they call a sophomore slump? The addition of TE Tony Gonzalez will no doubt help Ryan. Michael Turner should have another strong season.
Prediction : 9-7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Buccaneers have a lot of questions going into this season under new head coach Raheem Morris. Firing your offensive co-ordinator in the preaseson is not a good sign. they are another team with questions at QB, and defense.
Prediction: 7-9
Next Up: NFC West
