The Phillies made Game 6 necessary by beating the Yankees 8-6 Monday night in game 5. Cliff Lee didn’t have his best stuff but it was enough to pick up his 4th win in the post-season, and 2nd in the World Series. The real story of this game was again Chase Utley. What can you say about this guy, another 2- homer game, giving him 5 for the series and tying Reggie Jackson for most home runs in a World Series. It would be great to see him hit another one and break that record in Yankee Stadium. Here’s hoping that the Phillies can make game 7 necessary.
