The Flyers lost to the Vancouver Canucks 3 – 0 on Thursday night, being shut out for the second straight game, the first time that has happened since Feb. of 2003. its the Flyers’ sixth loss in their last seven games, and their fifth loss in seven games against the Western Conference. It wasn’t for the lack of chances, the Flyers did manage to put 38 shots on goal, unfortunately Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo stopped all of them. With that many shots on goal you would think they could get at least one goal out of it. Is it time to fire the coach? Probably not, it seems the Flyers go through one of these slumps every year, and its still early, but will have to wait and see. Categories: Uncategorized
