When your team is in a five game losing streak, everybody, including the fans, look for the guy wearing the “C” on his uniform to do something about it. The Flyers “C” did. Mike Richards scored the first to goals of the game against the N.Y. Islanders , ( Jeff Carter and Claude Giroux also had 2 goals) to spark the Flyers to a 6-2 win. When your in a losing streak what better time to face a team you had beaten 11 straight times, make that 12 now. Funny how things work out sometimes, the last win for the Flyers was against these same Islanders, let’s just hope there isn’t another losing streak to follow.
