The Sports Den tried to keep a positive look on the Eagles, and tried to believe Andy Reid knew what he was doing. Enough of that, after their two losses against the Cowboys in a week, how can you defend them, they both came up small in both games. Its time to stop drinking the cool-aid and relize this team has some serious problems. Those problem start with Reid having to be in control of everything, just ask Tom Heckart, who just left to become GM of the Browns. It makes you wonder if Reid saying it was his call to say McNabb will be his QB in 2010 had anything todo with it, probably.
One thing that Reid has to do but won’t, is to relize that if the Eagles are going to win a SB with McNabb as his QB he is going to have to do is do what Giants coach Tom Coughlin did with Eli Manning when they won the SB, take the ball out of McNabbs hands. Yeah, the Eagles went 11-5 this season, but this is where its time to stopr drinking the cool aid, because if you look at this record Reid is good against bad teams, and is bad against good teams, matbe because he has become to predictable. One more thing, Reid finally gave the McNabb the weapons he always wanted, and guess what, they get knocked out in the first round for the first time. The Sports Den will be posting more on the Eagles and what we think the Eagles need to do, not that it matters.
