The Flyers took a 3-1 series lead over the Devils with an impressive 4-1 win on Tuesday night. For the second game in a row the flyers started the game killing penalties, and found themselves trailing 1-0. Just like the last game, when the Flyers stayed out of the penalty box they outplayed the Devils. Jeff Carter ( 2 G’s, 1 A) and Danny Breiere (1 G, 2 A) snapped out of their little playoff slump and lead they way, game 23’s hero Dan Carcillo also added a goal. The final score would have been 5-1 if not for the highway robbery Martin Broduer pulled on Simone Gagne. Brian Boucher continued his strong goaltending stopping 27 of 28 shots, he now has very respectable .925save percentage, and a 1.98 GAA, who was expecting that?
