The Montreal Canadiens did the Philadelphia Flyers a big favor at the end of the season, losing their last game and allowing the Flyers leap frog them in the standings, thus avoiding having to play the Washington Capitals in the first round of the Playoffs. Now the Flyers need 1 more favor from the Canadiens.

No the Flyers don’t want you to lose, on the contrary they want you to win game 7 against the Capitals on Wednesday night. The Canadiens would be doing the Flyers another big favor, the Flyers again would avoid having to play the Capitals in the playoffs, and it would also allow the Flyers to avoid playing the Penguins in the second round, and instead would allow them to play the Boston Bruins. If the Canadiens were to then beat the Penguins,a nd the Flyers beat the Bruins, then the Flyers would show the Canadiens their appreciation for the favors the Canadiens did for them in the Eastern Conference Finals
