Ok Cole Hamels has to be asking himself, what did he do to deserve this? Again Hamels pitched a gem of a game only to see it go to waste. The Phillies were shut out for the fourth consecutive game at Citi Field, and its the second time in two consecutive starts that Hamels has lost to the Mets by the score of 1-0, last time was to Johan Santana. Hamels has only one win since June 13. This is going to be Hamels best season pitching and his record isn’t going to show it. Maybe the next game he pitches he should wear a help wanted sign on his back.
