You have to take your hat off for Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr for pulling off one of the biggest off season moves, a real shocker, in recent memory. Yes, The Sports De has critisized Ruben Amaro Jr, and the Phillies for being cheap and not knowing what they were doing, can’t say that anymore, which is a good thing. What makes this even sweeter is the fact that they took him right from under the Yankees, love it, so much for all of that Steinbrenner money. Thank you to Ruben Amaro Jr. and the Phillies for proving that wishes do come true once in a while, and making this a very Merry Christmas.
