Sweeping a team is always good, but when its a team in your division, and one that has been a thorn in your side no matter what their record says then its that much better. The Washington Nationals were in town and on Thursday night the Phillies were looking to sweep those pesky Nats with Roy Halladay on the mound. Needless to say Roy Halladay was his usual self and picked up win number five, and the Phillies improved to 21-9, and those Nats also helped Raul Ibanez break out of his slump. Now bring on those Braves. Categories: Uncategorized
