Back in November of 2010 after Jeff Carter signed his new  $58 million contract, The Sports Den said Carter wouldn’t be going anywhwere anytime soon considering the trade rumors surrounding him at the time. Guess What? The Sports Den was wrong, according to NHL.com the Flyers have traded Carter to the Columbus Bleu Jackets for forward Jakub Voracek, never heard of him either, and a 1st and 3dr round draft pick in this year’s draft. The Flyers suddenly get the eighth pick in the draft, and cap room to sign goalie Ilya Bryzgalov.

Update: Apparently Flyers C Mike Richards has been trade to the L.A.Kings, according to csnphilly.com. WOW!
